A Gem of India.

        A Gem of India.

India, a country which gave birth to enormous leaders,
Leaders whose non-ending efforts have made the history perfect for all readers.
These leaders had the same aim,
Of bringing back India's lost fame.
Among them one was Indira Gandhi,
Lovely daughter of Pandit Nehru and courageous wife of Firoz Gandhi.
She was a lady full of power,
Who had risen India's status to the heights of a tower.
A lady who was really brave,
And never knelt down to crave.
She had always worked for independence,
For she never favored the idea of dependence.
With her independent ideas, thoughts, plans she came,
And tried a lot to revive the lost fame.
I know the above lines are too less for her nature to be expressed,
She was so lovable that on her death, the whole country was depressed.
But, remember she will never die,
Believe me it's not a lie.
In our hearts she will always be alive,
With the same reputation she will always survive.

Educational role of Museums

  Educational role of Museums.

Who knows the history well,
Now don't say that everything began with a cell.
Let's try to nourish our brain and soul,
With ancient facts and museum's educational role.
History has always hidden itself behind the ignorant curtain,
Some facts unveiled and some not, which is certain.
Museums act like a genuine mirror of the past,
Getting information about different arts, cultures, traditions, giving a knowledgeable blast.
Museums inform us about each and every culture,
Their sight is as clear as that of a vulture.
Museums are like subject teachers,
They influence our perspective as spiritual preachers.
Be it the olden jewellery, coins, transport or inscriptions,
Museums give us details in description.
Museum present before us various historic facts,
From the earliest civilization to the newly signed pacts.
Coming to studies, making students cram things is not an easy task,
It is just like putting wilted flowers in a beautiful vase.
A visual display of every fact is required,
For this is how the concepts of knowledge are acquired.
Museums give us our society's overview,
They have a hypnotizing power that changes our view.
Museums are a major source of attraction,
Don't think they have been set up for leisurely distraction.
At last,
Since ages museums have tried to remove the ignorant dust,
They have been set up to quench our educational thirst.

Science- a boon or bane

                 Science- a boon or bane.

The clouds of science are at every place,
Places where men are having scientific race.
Yes, science has helped us to reach the moon,
But in teaching morality,it didn't prove to be a boon.
Mobile, internet, television, are mental work for us,
But in this run we are missing our health bus.
Science brings us close to the ones who are dear,
But sometimes the distance created between people is because of the technological jacket they wear.
Science has caused wars between people since ages,
I don't think it is a blessing for the sages.
Sometimes religion falls in science's trap,
And is nowhere to be seen on the scientific map.
Science is beneficial, I don't say that it is a bane,
But misusing it will make everything go in vain.
