26/11 was a horrifying day
When all the citizens put together their hands to pray.
A day when Mumbai saw no sunlight
And what it witnessed was only gunfight.
A day which was full of fear
And what rolled down everybody's cheek was only tear.
A day when Mumbai was under terror
And what the terrorist did was not an error.
I don't know why they committed such a fearful act
They must have thought that the nation won't react.
By doing this the terrorist have let down their nation
And have made the people doubt on god's creation.
But do we know their basic aim
Or do we know their motivators name.
They had attacked the taj hotel,Nariman house,CST station
That now I think "attack is fun" is their favourite quotation.
They don't care for their survival
They only care for their potential's revival.
Their job is to spread worldwide terrorism
But the reward they get at last is only criticism.
Under their terror many innocent cried
Less survived but many a died.
I would salute the brave hearts who saved the people's life
For their actions were as sharp as a knife.
Terrorism belongs to no religion, its cruelty and brutality
Whose aim is to kill the religion of humanity.
At the end I would say,
If u stay united like the petals in a flower
Then even terrorism can't defeat your unity power.

If I were...
Masks of fakeness moving around,
Making endless promises, indeed stout.
Walking along in pleasant time,
Preserving truth under deceptive slime.
Tricking people with friendly smile,
Where ultimate result is guile.
Pretending to be your soulmate,
Presenting false character, truly prate.
Showing happiness on your success,
Jealousy is what they suppress.
Hatred possessed by their hearts,
Attacking ours with venomous darts.
From friendship to treachery now,
Forgetness of previously taken vow.
I wish I were immune,
To such kind of rune.
Immune to events of deceit,
Managing without requiring to bleat.
Always moving ahead, forgetting these,
Following and achieving life's wheeze.

The Shadow
And the roof collapsed smashing them down,
In the sea of death , they did drown.
The sixteen year old took it as a baleful dream,
But it snatched away his euphoric beam.
That Ian was gifted with a mystic force,
Blessing was innate, soul being the source.
Acquired at the time of birth,
With it he could predict people's sadness and mirth.
And as someone passed near the predictor,
His senses would activate like a butterfly in search of nectar.
The shadows were the source of prediction,
For many years he considered it to be a benediction.
Success, happiness and death were a part of this prediction field,
The outline of the shadows would tell what his fortune would yield.
Either he would soar to heavenly heights,
Or the devil would take him in his hellish flight.
Year after year, his knowledge increased,
But while reading his parent's shadow, the forces ceased.
And the day of his sixteenth birthday approached,
His parental shadows got finally encroached.
Knowledge's increment required a proof,
When his parent's shadows reflected a collapsing roof.
Considering it a nightmare was his fault,
His mind at once came to a halt.
The blessings are at times, a curse in disguise,
Out of the blue, mysteries unveil, leaving us in surprise.
If you are provided with such a mystic force,
Beware! The effect might really be hoarse.

The word- Disease
The word- Disease.
Word which made me dive into the sea of thought,
Word which made me question-" Is good health bought?"
Word which sets my mind on fire,
Word which grips my mind with unhealthy wire.
Word which makes the soul shiver with fear,
Word whose influence never sheds with a tear.
Word which dissolves in it the solute of happiness,
Word which definitely checks your level of cowardliness.
Word which puts your will power under check,
Word which makes one see the ocean of life from an unhealthy deck.
Word which tests your desire to live life,
Word which chops these desires like a knife.
Word which gives you hopeless and sleepless nights,
Word which switches off all joyful lights.
Word which encroaches upon a land called health,
Word which takes away all of your wealth.
Word which builds up problems on life's way,
Word which brings together people who were once far away.
Finally, word which makes one feel the suffering on the earth,
Word which makes us realize that life is not always full of mirth.

A Gem of India.
A Gem of India.
India, a country which gave birth to enormous leaders,
Leaders whose non-ending efforts have made the history perfect for all readers.
These leaders had the same aim,
Of bringing back India's lost fame.
Among them one was Indira Gandhi,
Lovely daughter of Pandit Nehru and courageous wife of Firoz Gandhi.
She was a lady full of power,
Who had risen India's status to the heights of a tower.
A lady who was really brave,
And never knelt down to crave.
She had always worked for independence,
For she never favored the idea of dependence.
With her independent ideas, thoughts, plans she came,
And tried a lot to revive the lost fame.
I know the above lines are too less for her nature to be expressed,
She was so lovable that on her death, the whole country was depressed.
But, remember she will never die,
Believe me it's not a lie.
In our hearts she will always be alive,
With the same reputation she will always survive.

Educational role of Museums
Educational role of Museums.
Who knows the history well,
Now don't say that everything began with a cell.
Let's try to nourish our brain and soul,
With ancient facts and museum's educational role.
History has always hidden itself behind the ignorant curtain,
Some facts unveiled and some not, which is certain.
Museums act like a genuine mirror of the past,
Getting information about different arts, cultures, traditions, giving a knowledgeable blast.
Museums inform us about each and every culture,
Their sight is as clear as that of a vulture.
Museums are like subject teachers,
They influence our perspective as spiritual preachers.
Be it the olden jewellery, coins, transport or inscriptions,
Museums give us details in description.
Museum present before us various historic facts,
From the earliest civilization to the newly signed pacts.
Coming to studies, making students cram things is not an easy task,
It is just like putting wilted flowers in a beautiful vase.
A visual display of every fact is required,
For this is how the concepts of knowledge are acquired.
Museums give us our society's overview,
They have a hypnotizing power that changes our view.
Museums are a major source of attraction,
Don't think they have been set up for leisurely distraction.
At last,
Since ages museums have tried to remove the ignorant dust,
They have been set up to quench our educational thirst.

Science- a boon or bane
Science- a boon or bane.
The clouds of science are at every place,
Places where men are having scientific race.
Yes, science has helped us to reach the moon,
But in teaching morality,it didn't prove to be a boon.
Mobile, internet, television, are mental work for us,
But in this run we are missing our health bus.
Science brings us close to the ones who are dear,
But sometimes the distance created between people is because of the technological jacket they wear.
Science has caused wars between people since ages,
I don't think it is a blessing for the sages.
Sometimes religion falls in science's trap,
And is nowhere to be seen on the scientific map.
Science is beneficial, I don't say that it is a bane,
But misusing it will make everything go in vain.

A Sneak into my Interest
A Sneak into my Interest.
Jaded by work, sometimes you feel like running away,
Why not do something and pave a creative way.
Oh! This word ' creative' with a deep hidden meaning,
I delved into it to find where my interest was leaning.
Yes! You caught it right.
Putting words together to form something imaginative,
At times I wonder if poetry is my prerogative.
Poetry, a field which is extensively wide,
A field where you yourself are a guide.
An art which fascinates me from top to bottom,
An art which enables me to jot down what I observe and fathom.
This platform is best suitable for my creative expressions,
I wish on this sandy path I leave my poetic depressions.
I wish I influence people's notion,
And move towards success with zealous motion.
